- Do not assume one position or one device covers every room or adjoining space.
- Ask Aware before installing in an unusual, shared or high-risk environment.
Install and connect

Read the supplied guide
Use the instructions supplied with the exact Guardian model. Hardware and placement guidance can change between models.

Secure the position
Guardian runs on its rechargeable battery and works without being plugged in. Recharge it when needed, following the instructions for your model. Use the supplied mounting method and keep the intended sensing area clear.

Complete app setup
Pair Guardian through the current Aware app flow and confirm that the device shows as connected.

Run an agreed test
Verify the configured notification path with the nominated contacts. A test confirms the setup path, not every possible event.
If placement is uncertain
Pause before drilling, fixing or relocating the device. Contact Aware with the model, room type and a simple room description.
