What happens when a fall is detected?
Guardian can send configured notifications to nominated contacts through the Aware app. Agree who checks the situation and who is the backup. No sensing system detects every event, and a notification is not an emergency response.
Do I need to wear anything?
No. Guardian senses movement from its position in the room. Placement and room layout affect what it can observe.
Will someone be watching or listening?
Guardian uses radar. It does not create a video feed or record conversations. Decide with Aware who should have access to the supported activity information.
What if I don’t have home WiFi?
The WiFi model needs a suitable home network. Ask Aware about available cellular models and coverage before choosing.
Will Guardian help me stay at home longer?
Guardian can be part of your support arrangements. It cannot guarantee how long someone can live independently and does not replace in-person care, clinical advice or emergency services.
