As residents’ needs change, help them stay connected to the people who care. Private, non-wearable fall detection and home monitoring, made for life at home.
Independent living is personal. So is the support around it. Give residents another way to involve the people they trust, while shaping an approach that fits your village.
Their home. Their choices.
The familiar routines. The personal space. The freedom to get on with the day. Guardian adds room-based fall detection without a camera, microphone or anything to wear.
Start with what each resident wants, and the people they choose to involve.
Activity information and configured notifications give nominated people another way to stay connected. Something to help guide a conversation or a check-in, alongside the time they spend together.
The resident decides who is involved. The people involved agree who responds.
Make connected home monitoring part of the conversation about living well in your village. Bring residents, families and existing care providers into a plan that reflects the services your village offers.
Begin with a few homes. Learn with the people involved before considering a wider rollout.
Hardware and a connected service are required. Sensing and notifications depend on placement, charging, connectivity and configuration. No sensing system detects every event.
More support. Still their space.
A home should feel like a home.
Guardian does not record video or conversations. Residents stay at the centre of decisions about participation, access and who is involved in their support.
Family, village staff and care providers can have different roles. Agree those roles together, with a clear response and backup plan.
Choose participating residents and rooms. Agree roles, information access, costs and what you want to learn.
2
Bring it home.
Confirm placement and connectivity, connect nominated people and test the notification and response process.

Review it together.
Hear from residents and responders. Review the setup and decide what should change before considering more homes.

A few things you might be wondering.
Does a resident need to wear a pendant or watch?+
Guardian is a room-based radar sensor, so there is nothing to wear or press for its configured fall detection. It does not travel with the resident outside the room or replace an existing personal alarm.
Does the village need to provide a response service?+
Agree the response arrangement before installation. Nominated family or other contacts may be involved; village staff should only be included where that role is explicitly agreed and supported. Guardian does not provide an emergency response centre.
How does this fit with changing support needs?+
Start with each resident’s preferences and existing support. Review participation, nominated contacts and response arrangements as those needs change. Guardian can be considered alongside family support and care providers; it does not establish a new care service or replace clinical assessment.
What does installation involve?+
Assess the chosen room, sensor placement, WiFi or cellular connection and battery charging. Configure the app and nominated contacts, test notification delivery, and agree what to do if the power or connection is interrupted. Confirm the exact model and setup requirements with Aware.
Will Guardian connect to our existing call system?+
Keep existing call and emergency arrangements in place. Aware needs to confirm compatibility and any supported integration for your specific system before it becomes part of the plan.
How is a village deployment priced?+
Guardian requires hardware and a connected service. Discuss the number of homes, models, installation and support arrangements with Aware for a scoped quote. Public household prices do not establish a village-wide service agreement.
Guardian supports an agreed care arrangement. It does not replace emergency services, clinical advice, in-person checks or an existing personal alarm.
