Does Guardian need to stay plugged in?
Guardian runs on its rechargeable battery and works without being plugged in. Recharge it when needed, following the instructions for your model.
Does Guardian use a camera or microphone?
No. Guardian uses radar sensing and does not capture video, images or conversations.
Does anyone need to wear a device?
No. Guardian is installed in the room, so there is no pendant, watch or wearable to remember.
What connection does Guardian need?
Choose a WiFi model for a home with a suitable internet connection, or a cellular model when home WiFi is not available.
Does Guardian replace emergency or clinical care?
No. Guardian supports care decisions and notifications. It does not replace emergency services, clinical advice, in-person checks or an agreed care plan.
