Check safety in person
Do not troubleshoot the device before helping a person who may be at risk.

Record the current state
Note the time, room, model and any status shown in the app before moving or restarting Guardian.

Check battery charge and obvious obstruction
Recharge Guardian if needed, following the supplied instructions, and keep the intended sensing area clear.

Check placement and connection
Compare the current position with the supplied guide and confirm the device appears connected.
Stop and contact Aware
Do not open the product, improvise a power supply or repeatedly reset it. Contact Aware when the device is damaged, unusually warm, will not power on or remains offline after the documented checks.
