Radar not detecting falls
Common symptoms and fixes
High Priority

Symptoms

  • •Fall test in app shows no detection
  • •No movement registered on dashboard
  • •LED indicator on but no response

Solutions (try in order)

  1. 1Verify radar is powered on - check for solid blue LED
  2. 2Ensure radar is mounted 1.5-2 meters (5-6.5 feet) high
  3. 3Confirm radar is within 5 meters of monitored area
  4. 4Check WiFi connection is stable and active
  5. 5Run the built-in walk test in mobile app
  6. 6Restart the radar by unplugging for 30 seconds

  • Mount radar at recommended height
  • Keep detection area clear of large obstacles
  • Perform weekly system tests
Radar LED not lighting up

Understanding LED Indicators

What the radar's LED light colors mean

Solid Blue

Normal operation, all systems working

Action: None needed

Blinking Blue

Searching for WiFi connection

Action: Check WiFi settings, reconnect if needed

Solid Red

Error detected, system malfunction

Action: Restart device, contact support if persists

Blinking Red

WiFi connection lost

Action: Check router, verify network status

Solid Green

Fall detected, alert sent

Action: Respond to alert, check on person

No Light

No power or device failure

Action: Check power connection, replace power adapter

Reset Procedures

Different types of resets and when to use them

Note: Always try a soft reset first. Only perform a factory reset as a last resort, as it will erase all settings.
Soft Reset
Minor issues, temporary glitches
  1. 1Unplug power cable from radar
  2. 2Wait 30 seconds
  3. 3Plug power cable back in
  4. 4Wait for solid blue LED (up to 2 minutes)
  5. 5Check app to confirm connection restored
WiFi Reset
Connection issues, changing networks
  1. 1Locate small reset button on back of radar
  2. 2Use paperclip or pin to press and hold button
  3. 3Hold for 10 seconds until LED blinks rapidly
  4. 4Release button and wait for blinking blue LED
  5. 5Reconnect to WiFi using mobile app
Factory Reset
Persistent issues, before returning device
  1. 1Press and hold reset button for 30 seconds
  2. 2LED will blink red, then turn off
  3. 3Release button when LED turns off
  4. 4Device will restart automatically (2-3 minutes)
